On July 16, 2019, 色控传媒 addressed a letter to House leaders reaffirming our support for repealing the Cadillac tax and also emphasizing the need for relief from the health insurance tax (HIT).
Our letter cautions that the 鈥渋mpact of the Cadillac tax goes far beyond high-income workers and employee health plans offering 鈥榬ich鈥 benefits.鈥 To back up this point, we cite research findings which estimate that 74% of employer-provided health plans will be affected by the Cadillac tax when it takes effect in 2022.
We also highlight an Oliver Wyman study that estimates the savings the American people would receive if Congress approves bipartisan legislation (H.R. 1398) to suspend the health insurance tax in 2020 and 2021.
