Ali Skinner is a seasoned health care executive with nearly 20 years of experience in media relations, strategic and crisis communications, and public and government affairs. A dynamic storyteller and accomplished public speaker, she brings a unique blend of journalistic instinct and strategic insight to every message 鈥� crafting compelling narratives that build brands, drive engagement, and position organizations and leaders for long-term success.
Ali joined CDPHP in 2011 and currently serves as Vice President, Communications and External Affairs, where she leads all aspects of internal and external communications, as well as public and government relations, on behalf of the organization鈥檚 400,000 members and 1,300 employees.
A self-described recovering journalist, Ali spent a decade reporting and anchoring the news for television and radio stations in the Syracuse and Albany, NY markets. Today, she draws on that newsroom experience to make complex health care issues understandable and relatable for patients, policymakers, and the public.
