É«¿Ø´«Ã½â€™s new report on long-term care insurance coverage highlights the important role long-term care insurance plans play in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Details in the report include:

  • 7 million: people covered by long-tern care insurance nationwide
  • $155: average monthly premium per policy
  • $149.7 billion: total estimated claims paid
  • $170,000: estimated average claim per claimant in 2021

America is aging. By 2030, 1 in every 5 Americans will be a senior. By 2040, more than 14 million Americans will be 85 or older. Long-term care coverage can help ensure that we successfully care for this generation.
